Orange County is burning down.....
I bought a new Schwinn and it rides worse than the Schwinn I had that is 25 years old! The guy at the shop said, " All the bikes click when you peddle them now. They have loose tolerances in the hub." What?! Are you kidding me?! So what he's saying is that all bikes suck now?! So I took it to another store, and a really nice, super smart Latino gentlemen was nice enough to fix it after the other guy failed. Anyway, here's a picture of a Newport Beach sunset innundated by dry brush ash from 30 miles away. Take it easy all.

Yes new bikes are not like the old ones. The rims bend, the spokes break and here on maui the thorns go right through the thin tires. If you come back to Maui try riding a bike. Most artist us bikes to find the special places to paint. "Aloha"
